My name is Willow Rogers and my Mom is Lindsay. My mom adopted me about 5 years ago. She is the BEST mom ever. She gives me lots of hugs and kisses every day. She makes sure I get plenty of food and water along with those GOOD COOKIES. My mom takes good care of me. Now I want to help her. She hasn't felt good lately - She has Breast Cancer. I heard her talking to a friend and she told them she has a lot of treatment still to come more chemo and surgery. I am a good nurse, I give her lots of kisses, snuggles, hugs and frequent naps (especially on those days she has treatment) but "WE" need your help to find a way to detect Breast Cancer earlier so no one else has to get sick. NOBODY FIGHTS ALONE. Fight like a Frenchie and Pray for a cure. Please vote for me. Every vote counts. I dressed up in my best pink socks to "PINK MY PAWS".

Tynson on Patrol
Tynson was no ordinary dog. With her sleek coat and intelligent eyes, she was a Boxer like no other. Her unique mission? To tackle breast cancer and bring comfort to those in need through her involvement in Fishin' for a Cure. In 2020, they attended their first Fishin' for a Cure event, an annual gathering of breast cancer survivors, friends, caretakers and supporters. Tynson provides emotional support to those attending. Her gentle nature and intuitive understanding of human emotions made her the perfect companion for this event. Fishin' for a Cure became an annual tradition for Tynson and her moms. Many participants found solace in her presence, as if Tynson could sense their struggles and offer a reassuring paw or a warm nuzzle.
Over the years, Tynson's involvement in Fishin' for a Cure grew. She became a symbol of resilience and support for those battling breast cancer. Her mere presence provided a sense of hope and healing that was invaluable to the event's participants. As Tynson attended more Fishin' for a Cure events, they saw the positive impact they were making. Tynson's unique ability to sense and provide comfort became an integral part of the event's mission to support breast cancer patients and raise awareness. One sunny afternoon, as Tynson basked in the warmth of the event venue, she had become a source of strength and solace. Tynson loves to support Fishin' for a Cure. Help her continue her mission as she tackles breast cancer.

See Ya Later Cancer.. OR NOT... Alvie-GatorDuring the 2022 #FishinForACure Poker Fish tournament I was anxiously awaiting a visit with my soon to be adopted little Alvie. Foster mom brought her to visit me at the beach. We decided to walk down the beach. It was a wonderful experience watching her play in the water, greet every person on the beach and have a ball. After walking about a mile, we stopped to get water and rest. We ended up chatting on the deck for close to an hour, when we decided it was time to go. We could not get Alvie to stand up. She acted like she didn’t want to wake up. Both foster mom and I were clearly alarmed. When we got her to stand and move, she was walking like she was drunk so Foster Mom and I hustled down to the beach to her vehicle so she could take Alvie to the emergency vet. I carried my sweet baby the 1 mile walk back to her vehicle. Foster Mom looked at me and said, “You don’t have to keep her if you don’t want to.” I said, “Are you kidding me? She’s mine now." About 3 hours later she called and told me the vet said that Alvie was high as a kite. She had either eaten an edible or licked THC off someone’s hands. The vet said she would just need to sleep it off. Alvie slept 24 hours straight. We could not believe that would happen to a dog with a foster mom who worked at the Dept. of Defense and I worked for the Dept. of Public Safety. My boy Gator is also entertaining and full of adventure. This little man was rescued from the streets of Louisiana. I wanted to give him a name that was Cajun the state. The first time I took him for a walk in the park, every leaf, tree limb, piece of trash, everything went into his mouth. I thought of the name Gator. He is very protective, yet sensitive wonderful boy. He loves to snuggle and flop his 55 pounds on top of you like he weighs 10. Both of these dogs are my kids, the loves of my life. Please won’t you vote for these crazy kids and help us raise money for a cure? We do appreciate you joining us in #FishinforACure and #PinkMyPaws!
