Mission Statement
Fishin’ for a Cure is dedicated to bringing hope and support to those in need through community-driven fishing events and fundraising to make a difference for individuals battling breast cancer through fishing, fun, and fellowship.
Where We Are
Fishin’ for a Cure is a 501c3 charitable organization that began in Eastern North Carolina and now has a statewide reach. We were founded in Emerald Isle, NC. Our events are held in various locations in North Carolina, including Greensboro, Wilson, Dobson, Archdale, Mount Airy, Cape Carteret, Morehead City and Emerald Isle.
Achievements and Impact
In 12 years, Fishin' for a Cure has raised over 1.6 million dollars directly benefiting breast cancer patients, caregivers, and their families.

Liftin' For A Cure
LIFTIN' FOR A CURE is a powerful fitness competition dedicated to raising strength, hope and critical funds to help people fighting breast cancer. Its goal is to give them support, memories and experiences that will help them in their fight. Athletes of all levels come together to showcase their passion and determination, transforming every lift into a step toward finding a cure. With every rep, every cheer and every dollar raised, we’re building a stronger, healthier future.

Let's throw bags for a cause at The Emerald Club on February 20th, 2027 at 2:00 PM. Awards for winners in men, women and mixed categories. This event coincides with the Braamingo Plunge and Flamingle. If you already registered your team, you do not need to register again. New corn-hole teams will be able to register soon.
